While there are practicing mental health professionals on Get Support Together, complete functionality of our national mental health access website will be limited while the platform grows.  Please return frequently to see our progress enrolling providers and building mental health information so you can make informed decisions.

Introducing Get Support Together, a New Concept in Mental Health Access

Welcome to Get Support Together, a mental health resource directory planning to provide access to the full spectrum of mental health providers and programs from after-school youth empowerment to psychiatric-focused emergency rooms... and everything in-between.  Our goal is to meet you where you are at by providing options for therapists to psychiatrists to support groups to resource support centers to respite centers, all within your community.

Get Support Together will provide information and access to hundreds of types of mental health support options in your community and beyond.  We want to empower users to choose the mental health treatment options most appropriate for their situation.

This passion project has been 20-years in the making based on rocky mental health journeys for dearly loved ones, and myself, and the continued frustrating thought, "Why is getting well so hard?"  I learned there are only a few paths to getting mental health care:

  • Take a gamble with an unknown provider and hope their skills match your needs.
  • Get a referral from someone else whose needs were met, but doesn't mean yours will be.
  • Be taken to a psychiatric emergency room, hospital, or residential treatment center for a crisis due to lack of access to appropriate care.
  • Self-diagnosis and analysis-paralysis in trying to solve your own mental health struggles by visiting dozens of websites.

Get Support Together intends on changing these options by empowering those in search of mental health support to weigh all their options and make the choice that's the next right step for them.

Please help us spread the word by following and sharing our social channels (Facebook and Instagram).  It is through word-of-mouth we intend on creating an environment where prospective clients can choose mental health offerings based on the providers credentials, experience, and persona.

Get Mental Health Knowledge

Connecting individuals with the most appropriate mental health solutions is the primary goal of Get Support Together.  Another is creating a community where you can gain knowledge about recognized mental health conditions and treatment methods (known as "modalities").

You can expect to have access to treatment types, finding a specialist, and questions answered for each mental health diagnosis. Below is an example of the interactions you can expect once the site is fully developed.
