You are not alone
Finding mental health care shouldn’t feel so overwhelming and impossible.
We know how overwhelming it can be to look for the right mental health support. That’s why Get Support Together is designed to simplify the process and bring options into one place. While we are still growing, you will find real providers and resources here today—and more tomorrow.

Have you been faced with these challenges?

Taking a chance on a provider who may not be a good fit. Or worse, attending an overnight stay program not addressing your concerns.

Getting a referral on a treatment method, prescription, or diagnosis from someone else's experience and following it as law.

Getting a referral on a treatment method, prescription, or diagnosis from someone else's experience and following it as law.

Calling 911 or going to an emergency room when more supportive and less traumatic crisis intervention is available.

Aimlessly wandering websites and diagnosis by Dr. Google or Chat GPT - overwhelmed by what is out there an not finding what you need.
Why Get Support Together, now?
Because getting well shouldn’t be so hard.
This project comes from lived experience: decades of watching loved ones struggle to find help and facing the same barriers myself. Too often, the only options were chance referrals, emergency rooms, or endless self-diagnosis. We’re here to change that by making care options clearer, more accessible, and easier to trust.

Meet Brea
the founder of Get Support Together
Brea Berman-Black is a marketer, rancher, and passionate mental health advocate. A suburban Cleveland, Ohio native, she moved to the Texas Hill Country in 2019 with her husband, Stephen, a physical therapist, where they raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, and share life with their three beloved dogs and cats. Brea is a proud mom to two children and two bonus children, and she treasures the deep friendships that inspire her to be her best self.
Her idea for Get Support Together began between 2005–2010, when she struggled to find answers and resources for her young daughter’s mental health challenges. After years of struggling to be heard, her daughter was diagnosed with a neurological condition that explained the suffering.
Years later, while raising a blended family that faced significant mental health struggles, Brea and Stephen experienced firsthand how fragmented and overwhelming the system can be for families seeking help. Those experiences fueled her determination to create a resource that empowers people to find the right care, avoid feeling lost, and know they’re not alone.
With a career rooted in corporate and agency marketing, Brea combines professional expertise with personal passion to guide Get Support Together—a place built to connect, inform, and support families navigating mental health care.
